My second primary source is a study done by the members of Kantar Health and Novo Nordisk. The study’s intention was to examine the prevalence of obesity and its consequences, such as diabetes, cancer, and sleep apnea, within Mexico. I chose to use this source because much of the data coincides with NAFTA’s ratification. Since one of the main points of my argument is that NAFTA led to general unhealthiness within Mexico, this source was beneficial. The study sheds light upon the condition of Mexico’s health and supports my argument.
